Woodlake HOA Violation Enforcement Guidelines
The First Letter is a courtesy letter sent via regular mail. In the letter it should state the purpose of the HOA Violation Letter, provide evidence of the violation (cite covenants), request necessary changes, give a reasonable time period for change and provide a means for homeowner to respond.
The Second Letter is a warning letter sent by certified mail 14 days after the first letter. In the letter it will state and warn of the fine and or consequences if the violation is not resolved. This letter will include all of items mentioned above with the addition of the ability for the homeowner to schedule hearing with the Board within 30 days from the date of the notice. Proceedings before the HOA Board will issue a final verdict.
The Third Letter is a letter sent by certified mail 30 days after the second letter. This letter will include all of items mentioned above in the first letter and inform the homeowner that the HOA will exercise its rights under the covenants to enforce such restrictions by any means or methods allowed at law or in equity.
